PROJECT LOCATION &
ADVANTAGES

  • Project site is located in the science city. DRDO, IISC, ISRO, KHB are some of the neighbours in the science city.
  • Project site is located close to villages where manpower for the execution can be utilized.
  • Solar Insolation is around 5.89 Kwh/m2/day(Source:EAI), with this insolation per MW we can generate 1664 MW/Annum
  • Average wind speed is 3.97mts/sec, this cool breeze helps in reducing the module temperature to work at STC conditions to enhance the output performance of the solar module.
  • Average rainfall in the location is around 573 mm, the sunny days per annum is around 330 days.
  • Average temperature on the day is around 290 C, which is close to the module STC.
  • As rainfall is less and no agricultural activities around the location soiling loss on is less.
  • Ground water available at site has PH close to 7, which helps in reducing scale formation on the modules.
